Our store is currently seeking an Inside Contractor Sales professional with knowledge of Building Material Products and a strong background in Sales. The starting rate is $22-$24 per hour, depending on experience. The position involves working full-time (40 hours per week) from Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate will understand the marketplace and know product features, work to meet prospect customers' needs, and employ effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add-on sales techniques.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer projects from initial quote to invoiced sale, sharing expertise with others, and collaborating with outside sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and support outside sales with product selection, questions, and order writing
- Assist with estimating material needed for projects
- Set up special orders
- Schedule deliveries to satisfy customer needs and maintain profitability
- Develop continuous business relationships with customers and vendors
