Curtis Power Solutions Rental Division has an immediate opening for an Equipment Operations Manager to join our team. Operations managers ensure the seamless and timely execution of a company's operations, this role will be instrumental in driving the overall success of our branch operations for our rental power generation equipment and support services. This role will have full operational and P&L responsibilities for the rental branches. This role will have oversight to rental sales, rental equipment readiness program, and developing a service program to support the fleet of all power generation rental equipment.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, a motivated self-starter, and a proven leader who is committed to fostering a positive and productive team environment. Should have industry experience and knowledge of equipment rentals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organizational objectives.
- Foster innovation and productivity through effective communication.
- Own and prioritize safety initiatives to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of P&L management to achieve business plans and financial targets.
- Enhance the rental readiness program for the organization
- Collaborative development
- Build strong work relationships with staff to maintain a high level of customer service and support in a positive, team-oriented branch environment.
- Ability to analyze operational information to identify opportunities for improvement and implement positive actions to drive results.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels, provide continuous coaching, training, support, and performance feedback to team members.
- Business Development: develop key market sales strategies and proactive review of market trends and conditions to make informed decisions and strategies.
Requirements
- Management Experience: 2-5 years of management experience with a strong understanding and knowledge of P&L, sales, customer service, and operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Communication Skills: Strong management, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Personal Attributes: Must be self-driven, a team builder, highly motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Travel & Driving: Clear driving record and ability to travel periodically as required.
