Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Recruiting and Training Coordinator at our location in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong rapport with all managers; routine communication and follow-up is essential to ensure their requirements are being met.
- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss functional and market area needs.
- Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for hiring managers to influence the continuous improvement of recruitment and processes.
- Creatively source candidates through networking, employee referrals, industry-specific job boards, colleges and universities, and social media.
- Conducts initial phone interviews for all candidates to determine if they meet the necessary job requirements and then coordinates with management to schedule additional interviews.
- Compile and update reports for job openings, hires and post-hire summaries for hiring managers and senior management.
- Represent Company at career/job fairs.
- Coordinates schedules and activities for instructor lead training, conferences, and online WBT.
- Prepares meeting agendas, records minutes and communicates information and assignments as needed.
- Communicate effectively about assigned programs by building and maintaining specific curricula knowledge.
- Assists in researching prices and purchasing training equipment, materials and supplies.
- Organizes and initiates conference calls and web-based training.
- Manage rosters of attendees/wait lists for all programs and maintain and update registration information and attendance records.
