What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Curtiss-Wright Corporation?

As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing routine and semi-routine assignment planning, layout, setup, operating, and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment;
- Working from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions;
- Checking and inspecting machining operations against specified tolerances and identifying and repairing minor machine malfunctions;
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area and adhering to acceptable quality and efficiency levels;
- Proving out CNC programs when required;
The successful candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong knowledge of CNC equipment is required, as well as the ability to apply inspection techniques and equipment used.
