We are seeking a highly skilled Weld Process Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will involve leading the development and implementation of weld and braze operations for existing products and new product development.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the development and implementation of weld and braze operations.
- Supervising and prioritizing assignments for AWSE Development Lab technician staff.
- Managing Cheswick site filler metal inventory with respect to production needs and quality requirements.
- Providing material and time estimates for customer scopes of work in support of proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineering Specialty such as Mechanical, Materials, or Weld Engineering.
- Minimum prior work experience of 3 years in engineering support of heavy component manufacturing including machining and welding/brazing operations.
- Effective writing and documentation skills.
- Must be a USA citizen.
