Your Challenge
- Develop intuitive software features to aid lightly trained users in managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, phone systems), in tactical environments
- Develop APIs using multiple interfaces
- Write robust code in embedded C
- Work closely with senior software engineers, network engineers and integration/QA teams
- Perform code reviews to collaborate and learn with team members
- Assist in writing help and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot system and software problems
- Other duties as assigned
- BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 2 years software engineering industry experience required
- Strong familiarity with source code development for embedded microcontrollers (ANSI C/MIRSA C)
- Strong familiarity with a modern software language (C#, Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
- Familiarity with Object Oriented software design patterns
- Robust habits of source control and documentation
- Ability to read, understand and troubleshoot schematics
- General Lab Equipment Operation(Voltmeter, Oscilloscope, Power supply, etc…)
- Cisco CCNA certification or familiarity with Cisco IOS highly desirable
- Familiarity with CE Services and iStax highly desirable
- Familiarity with Virtual Machines (VMWare) highly desirable
- Familiarity with Nvidia Jetson product family (Xavier/Orin) and/or other AI products
- Familiarity with Linux Kernal and ARM architecture
- Familiarity with embedded unit testing desirable
- Familiarity with build pipelines desirable
- Familiarity with security concepts desirable
- Strong communication/documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Eagerness to learn and grow, and to work with some world-class engineer
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines
