We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Brecksville, OH location.
Your Responsibilities
Design and analyze moderately complex mechanical systems, equipment and products. Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Complete verification of prototypes and validation of manufactured products. Produces technical documentation of analysis and results to establish sustainable records.

Your Challenge
- Modify existing and create new products to meet needs of customers applications and industry standards.
- Design and conduct experiments, collects data and interprets results, conducts analysis and writes analysis and test reports.
- Capability to draw conclusions and reconcile differences between predicted and actual results.
- Provide engineering support and training to the manufacturing areas to assure desired production yield and optimize efficiency, safety, quality and cost effectiveness.
- Assures documentation and analysis required to establish intellectual property rights.
- File innovation disclosures and patent applications.
- Develop expertise in assign product lines and assures all marketing materials are technically accurate in representing product capabilities and expected performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, Master’s degree Preferred
- 4 years’ experience Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Analyst (ie. Minitab), Disciplined Problem Solvine (DPS), 3-D CAD Systems
- Preferred Experience with Computation modeling CFD/ FEA and Voice of Customer
- Ability to create and iterate designs, validate performance, and perform design reviews.
- Project management experience
- Team player and effective communication
