Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Curtiss-Wright in Cheswick, PA. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing electro-mechanical components and systems. Your duties will include developing drawings and specifications for new and modified designs, supporting manufacturing and testing of electro-mechanical equipment, and determining maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for current and new equipment.

Develops drawings and specifications for new and modified designs
Supports manufacturing and testing of electro-mechanical equipment
Determines maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for current and new equipment
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advance degree a plus
Minimum 2-10 years work experience dealing with manufacture and design of engineered products
Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, generators and propulsors)
GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, FEA methods
Ability to create models and drawings, present design reviews, and perform trade studies and design reviews
Must be a team player and have knowledge of MS Office Suite
