Job Overview

Curtiss-Wright is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our East Windsor, CT team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our thermal spray metal coatings.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections, and participating in audits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
  • Review and evaluate in-process rejections, obtain disposition, and implement corrective action as needed.
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.
  • Participate in audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of manufacturing or aerospace experience.
  • Assisted in audits or completed audits.
  • Understanding blueprints.
  • Self-motivated/self-starter.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats to help each other out.
  • Education - associates or bachelors degree.
