Position Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our equipment and facility systems. Your expertise in multiple maintenance disciplines will help prevent downtime and support the efficiency of our meat processing operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on roles and enjoys troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (24V to 480V, single- and three-phase).

Diagnose and resolve issues with plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.

Address emergency maintenance needs efficiently and collaboratively.

Operate and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

Conduct maintenance on vacuum pump systems, if needed.

Handle basic carpentry and pneumatic system troubleshooting.

Maintain proper inventory of maintenance tools and supplies.

Adhere to all safety protocols and plant regulations.

Participate in ongoing technical training provided by the company.

Weekend work and on-call rotation required.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and electrical testing equipment strongly preferred.

Proficient with hand and power tools.

Capable of reading schematics and electrical blueprints.

Skilled in basic plumbing, carpentry, and pneumatic equipment maintenance.

Able to work in a cold, fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
