Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various agricultural products, ensuring the effective and safe use of chemicals and fertilizers. This role requires a strong understanding of farm machinery and heavy equipment operation, along with the ability to maintain equipment in optimal working condition. A passion for agriculture and animal handling is essential, as you will work closely with both crops and livestock.
Duties
- Operate and maintain machinery and heavy equipment used for application processes.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other agricultural products according to safety guidelines and best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate application rates and mix ratios accurately.
- Assist in the management of crops, including growing practices, pest management, and overall health monitoring.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize application processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating heavy equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with farm machinery maintenance is a plus.
- Basic math skills are required for accurate calculations in application processes.
- Previous experience in farming or ag industry is beneficial.
- Knowledge of growing practices and animal handling techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 80 per week
