What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Technician / Architect position at Cushing Terrell?

Qualifications* you will bring to the table:
- NAAB accredited degree
- 3-6 years of design experience on the path of licensure
- Strong Revit skills as well as the ability to manipulate CAD files to use in Revit
- Proactive approach to work
- Experience reading and coordinating with structural and MEP drawings
- Knowledge of building and accessibility codes and experience with projects in existing building is a plus.
- Experience and familiarity with technology design and data centers is a plus
- Collaborate or serve as the project designer to carry client design goals through each phase of a project
- Understand and apply company drafting/graphic standards, Revit best practices and specification tools
- Utilize the current Cushing Terrell technical resources/ expertise & external resources applicable to projects
- Coordinate & collaborate with other disciplines & consultants and increase working knowledge-base of their systems
- Oversee, prepare & produce deliverables per phase including: drawings, details and specifications
- Carry out onsite field verifications and construction administration site walks
*The majority of the time, a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach.
Your pay
The salary for this position is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets.
- Expected Range*: $70,000 to $86,000
- The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus
*The actual salary offered for the role will be determined based on various factors including but not limited to; years of experience, certifications, location, level of job-related knowledge, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law).
