The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

Responsibilities:
Provides Management Functions for Research Team
- Supports overarching hiring, training, supervision and mentoring of staff
- Oversees and directs local quarterly data compilation and statistical production including forecasting and client requests
- Appropriately staffs projects based on level of effort and expertise required for projects
- Ensures research teams are meeting needs of local fee-earners
- Due to increased years of experience, performs higher level, more in-depth analysis and written reports than at the Senior Analyst/Analyst level
- Manages Research Team on data collection and quality as pertains to integration into various technologies across the platform. (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all Regional and National research and company initiatives
- Participates in development of local requests for research information including market stats and analysis for prospecting, pitch and/or proposal materials
- Attends, participates in and presents market information and quarterly updates at branch sales meetings, client pitches and presentations
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA or master’s degree in research, economics, real estate or another related field preferred
- 10 years of experience in commercial real estate industry or research-related field
- 6 years of supervisory experience, ability to manage, train and mentor research personnel.
- Business development: ability to communicate and analyze market conditions for business development; ability to network and foster client relationships
- Expertise in Excel, PowerBi is a plus
- Professional acumen, deep understanding of real estate leasing and capital markets business; not just a deep expertise in an individual area or marketplace
- Critical thinking/problem solving and demonstration of good judgement to make appropriate decisions
- Writing skills: ability to communicate and analyze market conditions for business development to support internal and external clients
- Adaptability/change/fast pace: ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage processes in a fast-changing environment
