Job Description Summary
The Energy Engineering Project Manager provides project management experience related to Carbon Emissions Reduction projects from start to finish and beyond and will track projects and assignments for a particular client account, property portfolio, or large facility / complex through interaction with the client, property or facility management team, and project management staff. You will monitor and coordinate the execution of the various services and processes relating to client contracted agreements for project management and tenant improvement consulting services.
In this role you will interface with the Energy Engineers and then continue to track and interface with the infrastructure project managers. You will work closely with and provide detailed progress reports to the Account Manager / Director or Portfolio Manager in addition to other personnel involved in projects. You will also direct consultants in achieving project completion. After project is completed, then you will assume responsibility for each property for continued data tracking and quality assurance checks of results of construction per EVO IPMVP, where applicable.
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS :
- Mechanical / Electrical / Control Engineering experience to be able to perform technical reviews of design drawings & RFPs, ERPs
- Experience performing & managing direct energy audits
- 5 years of work experience with project management of building energy retrofit / retro-commissioning projects
- 5 years’ experience with design in Energy and Sustainability Projects
- Competent in financial management and project schedules, documentation, meetings, etc.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards 55.1, 90.1, 135, 189, and 62.1 and ISO 50001
- Understand municipality energy benchmarking and building decarbonization regulations like building energy performance standard (BEPS) in DC or MD

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is : $119,000.00 - $140,000.00
