Job Description Summary
Responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs on commercial buildings, mechanical systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties / facilities and other duties as assigned. Job Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES :
- Perform PM's, troubleshooting, basic repairs, adjustments, and installations to mechanical equipment
- Technicians must be capable of responding to a variety of calls such as, but not limited to, hot / cold issues, general plumbing, light carpentry work, basic electrical, piping repairs, lighting issues, minor leaks while demonstrating strong customer service skills
- Responds to building system alarms and problems to minimize equipment or system damage and potential downtime
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assigned
- Responsible for the maintenance and appearance of the entire facility including all systems and equipment
- Ensure that preventative maintenance and corrective work orders assigned are completed and closed out in compliance with the provided schedule
- Comply with company policies and safety requirements / programs
