Primary Purpose of Position
Working as a team member within the IT Department to maintain core operating systems for originations, operations, servicing, accounting and Business Lending Solution systems. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting in network maintenance, system access audits, assisting in the managing of the information security plan and supporting the IT Manager in implementing changes regarding the latest network technologies/systems that could help the company succeed.
Duties and responsibilities
· Assist by Monitoring/Maintaining/Managing all technology utilized within the company.
· Work with IT Manager to implement specific technology needs and enhancements related to core systems as the network.
· Suggest recommendations for the enhancements/solutions for systems/software.
· Manage daily routine and corrective maintenance on issues related to systems.
· Manage active directory and users on Windows Server network (adding, deleting, and permissions).
· Assist with reviewing and managing cybersecurity risk assessments.
· Troubleshoot day to day computer related issues within departments (PCs, printers, etc.).
· Complete installation or movement of computer equipment.
· Work with various vendors related to IT department.
Knowledge and Skill
· Well-developed computer application skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· SQL, MS Access and Office 365 skills would be a plus.
· Excellent interpersonal, writing, and oral communication skills.
· Positive attitude and willingness to help others.
· Ability to work as a team member and as an individual.
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
· Basic office skills.
Education Requirements
· Associates’ Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field to Business and/or Information Systems required.
· I.T. related certifications related to any of the above listed knowledge and skills a plus.
Physical Requirements
· Use of standard office equipment (telephone, copier, fax, personal computer, etc.) is required on a daily basis.
· Work requires the use of a video display terminal (VDT) and application of manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination (basic keyboarding).
· Reading documents for general understanding (correspondence & memos) is often required. As well as reading documents for analytical purposes (technical reports).
