As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care from the moment they enter our practice until they complete their treatment.

- Treatment Planning & Coordination:
- Effective communicator and team player
- Work closely with the clinical team to present treatment plans to patients.
- Explain treatment options and benefits to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Provide financial breakdowns and discuss payment options for treatments.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments and follow-ups.
- Ensure smooth communication between the clinical team, office staff, and patients.
- Patient Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans.
- Build strong relationships with patients, creating a positive and welcoming experience.
- Provide timely follow-up calls to patients before and after treatment appointments.
- Insurance Verification & Billing:
- Verify dental insurance coverage and determine patient eligibility.
- Understand how submitting insurance claims works and tracking claim statuses.
- Ensure accurate and complete patient records, including treatment details and financial information.
- Appointment Management:
- Schedule patient appointments in coordination with the dental team’s availability.
- Maintain an efficient and organized appointment schedule.
- Send reminders to patients about upcoming appointments and follow-up treatments.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update patient files in the practice management software.
- Collaborate with the front desk and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Assist in patient retention by promoting office services and encouraging regular visits.
- Customer Service & Patient Advocacy:
- Provide a high level of customer service and advocate for patient needs.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Work in tandem with the Patient Care Coordinator to answer phone calls and welcome patients to the practice.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatment plans, and dental terminology.
- Familiarity with dental insurance, billing, and coding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dental practice management software (OpenDental)
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a squad.
- Positive, professional attitude with a focus on providing an exceptional patient experience.
