Cust-O-Fab is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of boxed headers and assembly of bundles for air-cooled heat exchangers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage production schedules for both shops
- Visit sub-contract suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and timeliness align with expectations
- Verify facility, equipment, and supplies are adequate to support operation
- Directly lead supervision and department shop personnel as required
- Manage staffing levels to maintain efficient workforce
Requirements:
- Technical degree or 10 year relevant industry experience
- 5-7 years' experience directly supervising welding of boxed headers
- 2-5 years' experience operating MIG, TIG, and/or SAW welding equipment
- Understanding of costing elements in labor and material for building headers and bundles
- Knowledge of ASME VIII section 1 for boxed headers and hydrotest requirements
