Job Description
As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will oversee a team of manufacturing professionals responsible for constructing boxed headers and assembling bundles for air-cooled heat exchangers. Key responsibilities include ensuring solid cost controls, reviewing actual job performance, and verifying facility and equipment adequacy.
Responsibilities:
- Review production schedules for both shops
- Monitor quality, cost, and timeliness with sub-contract suppliers
- Verify facility, equipment, and supplies are adequate to support operation
- Directly lead supervision and department shop personnel as required
- Manage staffing levels to maintain efficient workforce
Requirements:
- Technical degree or 10 year relevant industry experience
- 5-7 years' experience directly supervising welding of boxed headers
- 2-5 years' experience operating MIG, TIG, and/or SAW welding equipment
- Understanding of costing elements in labor and material for building headers and bundles
- Knowledge of ASME VIII section 1 for boxed headers and hydrotest requirements
