Required Education : RN : Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Skills required : Medical Surgical Inpatient Care experience, experience with a team nursing approach (Nurse RT Imaging)
Schedule Information
Scheduling : Weekend rotation : Entire team works rotating shifts. No set weekends. Self-Scheduling
No call
Holiday Expectations : will be assigned holidays as needed
Approval of time off? Done prior to start of contract
Unit Specific Information
Charting System : EPIC & Space Lab
Floating : Within scope of practice and below
Orientation : First day orientation : time with manager, Epic / Ilearn training online. 1 shift with preceptor
Additional Details
Condition Snow Policy : If called when on shifts they will stay, just as MH caregivers do. They will be paid for all hours incurred during condition snow even if sleeping. If there is notice of impending condition snow, leadership will call all caregivers scheduled to arrive early for their shift.
