GM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all operations functions of the hotel. Responsible for consistent delivery of results that contribute to the overall success of the property.
- Ensure full compliance to SOP’s, policies, procedures and Brand standards.
- Handling complaints and oversee the service recovery procedures.
- Actively engage in Revenue Management program. Assist in maximizing room yield and revenue management procedures.
- Responsible for the preparation, presentation and success of the hotel's annual Operating Budget.
- Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets (GSS) are met and exceeded.
- Maintain social media presence at all times. All OTA content and response to reviews.
- Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings based on cost per room goals.
- Monitor maintenance progress and FF&E (Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment) conditions and provide status report to GM.
- Ensure the condition and maintenance of the property are in good standings.
- Helping in the obtaining of operating supplies and equipment, and contracting with third-party vendors for guest products and services. Guaranteeing the best cost saving programs and/or supplies.
- Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.
- Provide effective leadership to hotel team members. Teaching and empowering your staff to succeed and grow.
- Community Networking to maintain positive relationships with fellow Hoteliers and local business owners.
- Performs daily, weekly and monthly property inspections.
- Must be available 24/7 as support to any guest or employee emergencies.
- Engage in weekly meetings with Director of Operations to go over wins and losses.
- Any other duties as assigned by DOO, COO, and Owners.
