What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at Custom Aerospace?
Job Description:
This position uses hand tools to label and assemble machined parts prior to delivery to customers. This position requires extreme attention to detail and dedication to excellence.
This position also floats between production departments to assist in removing burrs from metal or plastic machined parts and to assist in masking, stripping, and inspecting parts.
Employee may use magnifiers and microscopes to see details on parts. Eye-hand coordination is a must.
Required Skills:
· Ability to use power tools (belt sanders, roto-zips, routers)
· Ability to work with hand tools (metal files, Sandpaper, Knives, hand sanders, deburring tools)
· Ability to be on your feet or sitting for extended periods of time
. Ability to concentrate & pay close attention to details.
. Read & comprehend Blueprints (WILL TRAIN)
∙ Painting experience with chemical conversion and masking skill sets preferred
∙ Experience performing work under a microscope preferred. Skill can be trained.
