Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Parts & Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Beloit, Ohio location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, a solid understanding of agricultural equipment parts, particularly grain handling systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Inventory Management: Receive, store, and organize incoming parts and inventory accurately.
- Part Identification: Locate and identify correct parts using parts books, catalogs, and software.
- Inventory Records: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Picking and Preparation: Pick and prepare parts for service techs and customers efficiently.
- Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift safely and efficiently for loading/unloading shipments.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Customer Service: Assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone as needed, providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Forklift Experience: Proven experience operating a forklift (certification preferred).
- Parts Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret parts books and equipment manuals.
- Grain Handling Systems: Knowledge of grain handling systems and related equipment is a strong asset.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for parts lookup and inventory tracking.
