Receiving Supervisor
Starr Ranch Growers is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to assist the Receiving Manager with coordination, accounting, handling, and storing of growers' fruit; coordinating trucks and bins with growers, field staff, and management; and leading a team of forklift drivers to accomplish planned work activities.
Qualifications:
- Safety-minded
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Committed to leadership growth and team building
- Able to safety drive a forklift, including high-stacking
- Able to teach and train others
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
General job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring proper hauling, recording, handling, accounting, and storing of fruit received
- Ensuring accurate paperwork and documentation
- Communicating with Receiving Manager
- Collaborating with other department leaders
- Ensuring quality control
- Overseeing the loading and unloading of supplies, bins of fruit, and empty bins
- Filling CA rooms; high-stacking bins of fruit
- Coaching, mentoring staff
- Training, reinforcing, and ensuring accountability with work rules and procedures
- Training new forklift drivers
- Forklift driving
Compensation & Benefits:
