Seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join the Custom Apple Packers / Starr Ranch Growers refrigeration department. Competitive wage and benefits.
Required:
- Safety-minded!
- Able to maintenance refrigeration and controlled atmospheric equipment and maintain accurate written records of work performed
- Read, write, speak English
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Be certifiable on a respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus
- Knowledgeable in refrigeration components, cold storage, cold storage chemicals, controlled atmospheric equipment, and industrial electrical systems
- Able to work up to seven (7) days per week
- Able to respond to middle-of-the-night or weekend alarms
Preferred:
CARO certification
Prior refrigeration experience in apple storage
Compensation and benefits: $26-$33 based on experience and demonstrated competencies. Medical, dental, vision, long term disability, elective life insurance, 401k, paid time off, holiday pay.
