Job Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the general operations of a warehouse and its staff. They oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving, shipping, and storing products, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, while following established safety procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
- Plan, organize, and participate in daily warehouse operations and activities.
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees.
- Supervise, prepare, and maintain a variety of paper and digital records, report and logs as required for informational and inventory purposes.
- Operate specialized warehouse equipment; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Observe health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous work history regarding warehousing operations and stock control/inventory methods and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Windows, and Excel Spreadsheets.
- Forklift operation certification.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds plus, on a regular basis.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous work experience using an ERP system is a plus.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
