Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Execute floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain the appearance of various flooring types.
• Conduct industrial cleaning in facilities as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency and cleanliness.
• Serve as a porter when required, managing the movement of supplies and equipment throughout the premises.
• Maintain custodial supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery.
• Address any specific client requests or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.

Skills

• Experience in residential painting is a plus, showcasing versatility in maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong understanding of facilities maintenance practices to support overall cleanliness.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and best practices.
• Ability to perform floor care duties effectively, including buffing and maintaining various flooring types.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
