This position manages and handles all Internal QC inspection activities, including all material movements needed for QCI activities including pulling inventory, organizing any quarantines and receiving request for passed QCI. This roll ensures QC inspections are completed for all incoming products with necessary reporting completed and QCI requests are completed in a timely manner.
Quality Control Inspection responsibilities:
· Manages and assists QCI process involving Custom Orders (CO), Inventory Orders (IO) and any product related inspection process.
· Creates QCI reports using the templates created, creates the entry in the QCI system in PowerApps (PA).
· Creates schedule and planning for incoming shipment QCI for inventory, custom and new products.
· Assists the Vendor Managers (VM) and Sales Manager in pulling, receiving or quarantining products based on the QCI decision from these teams.
· Attends QCI and manages Weekly Pending QCI report.
· Attends External QC meeting that is hosted by Customer Service team to learn issues encountered and how the team resolves them. May participate in projects or action items in support.
Works with VM team to perform new product QCI.
· Works with Warehouse Team to conduct monthly QCI spot check on inventory items (older products without QCI yet).
· Works with Warehouse Team to manage and/or remove Quarantine products.
· May provide instructions and job duties to other QCI team members.
· Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
o Assisting warehouse as needed
o Assisting label application as needed
o Assisting vendor managers on order management and QC task management
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a warehouse environment or similar with knowledge of products and quality processes with some level of quality control experience.
· GED or high school diploma required. Some college courses or AA degree preferred.
· Basic computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word)
· Ability to understand basic math
· Able to use measuring tools
· Data entry experience using spreadsheets
· Ability to work in a fast pace and ever-changing environment.
· Ability to prioritize and change/adapt as new and urgent requests come in throughout the day.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to read product specifications.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to handle vendor quality issues to support vendor managers.
Pay: $20.50 - $24.50 DOE
