Job Description:
If you have a passion for exterior/interior painting and enjoy the challenge of building something one of a kind, we would love to talk to you! We are looking for an experienced painter who can properly and efficiently prepare and apply primers, paints, and other surface coatings, using various application methods to interior and exterior surfaces and components.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with industrial exterior painting and residential interior painting, staining and lacquer finishes.
• Experience with surface prep on various materials (wood, MDF, steel, & aluminum); sanding, caulking, puttying, filler, and bondo
• Ability to efficiently prepare and apply primers, paints, and other surface coatings, using various application methods (such as airless sprayers, rolling, and brushing).
• Must have the ability to perform basic calculations for paint mixing and maintain a log of material usage for each job.
• Experience with carpentry and assembly is a plus (Disassembling & Reassembling cabinets and doors).
• Must possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and work within a team environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs. consistently, be comfortable with the use of ladders, and work in various positions (for example, crouching, kneeling, lying down, and work in low spaces).
• Must be self-motivated and push jobs towards completion.
• Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule is a must.
• Extensive attention to detail and high regard for accuracy.
• Ability to learn the CCL way of painting and maintaining our level of quality.
• Be reliable and dependable.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of residential and light commercial painting experience required.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• The ability to safely use hand, power tools, and all tools pertaining to painting.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
