Job Description:
CCL is seeking a QC Inspector/Manager who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control within the production process. This role ensures that all products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection & Testing:
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Utilize various inspection methods (i.e. visual inspection, dimensional checks, and functional testing).
- Collect and analyze data on product quality and defects.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records.
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
- Monitor production processes to identify and address potential quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Quality Control Systems:
- Manage and maintain the quality management system.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain quality control documentation.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Address customer complaints and concerns related to product quality.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools (i.e. calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have knowledge of construction.
- Excellent planning and organization skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task effectively.
- Ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in a changing, fast-paced work environment.
- Capability to read and understand building plans and specifications is required.
- Team oriented; ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.
