Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and vision inspection systems.
- Perform quality audits to assess compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Utilize Calypso software for measurement data analysis and reporting.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on findings.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in fabrication processes.
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC protocols throughout the manufacturing process.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
- Assist in training staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection or QA/QC roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with vision inspection systems and precision measuring instruments is essential.
- Proficient in using Calypso or similar measurement software for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of quality audits and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
