Glazier/Installer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate must have 2 years of experience in curtain wall building and installation, a strong background in glass installation and fabrication, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while working on various construction projects. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in windows, doors, and other structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Duties

• Install glass panels in windows, doors, and storefronts according to specifications.
• Assemble and fabricate frames for glass installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
• Perform metal stud framing as needed for structural support.
• Collaborate with carpenters on cabinet installation and frame carpentry tasks.
• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes.
• Conduct site measurements to ensure accurate fitting of glass products.
• Assist in remodeling projects that involve glasswork.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills

• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
• Strong fabrication skills for assembling glass frames and supports.
• Knowledge of construction estimating techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
