Skid Steer Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly skid steers, in various construction and site preparation tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site safety and operations and the ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate skid steer loaders for various tasks including grading, paving, and material handling.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the construction site.
• Report any mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically skid steers and loaders.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Ability to work effectively on a construction site, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
• Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for heavy equipment operation are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
