About the Role:
As a server at Custom House Restaurant Group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This involves greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and ensuring that they have an enjoyable meal.
Responsibilities:
• Greet guests and show them to their tables
• Take food and beverage orders and input them into our system accurately
• Develop knowledge of our menu offerings and make recommendations to guests
• Provide attentive service by refilling drinks and checking in during meals
• Address any guest complaints or issues and refer them to management when necessary
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Essential Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a server in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
• Knowledge of food and beverage regulations, as well as wine and spirits knowledge
• Physical ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
