Job Summary:
We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the preparation and processing of payroll, audit and correct employee timesheets, manage cash reconciliation, and perform general administrative tasks. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate payroll operations across our restaurant group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and processing payroll on a semi-monthly basis
- Assist with cash management and reconciliation, including verifying deposits and handling variances
- Audit and correct employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, pay rates, and benefits
- Assist with employee inquiries related to payroll, pay discrepancies, and time records
- Support the tracking and processing of employee reimbursements
- Help organize and update employee files and payroll documentation
- Work closely with management to ensure payroll deadlines are met
- Perform general administrative duties and provide clerical support Travel between multiple office/restaurant locations as needed
Compensation & Perks:
- $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience
- Approximately 30 hours per week
- $50/month cell phone reimbursement
- Mileage reimbursement for travel between locations

- Weekend availability is required
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Previous experience assisting with payroll is strongly preferred
- Education or experience in basic accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable handling cash and working with numbers
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity
- Must be able to pass a background and credit authorization check
