About the Role:
At Custom Industrial Products, our success is driven by our dedicated sales team. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Support Specialist to assist the Business Development team by actively following up on leads, making outbound calls, and nurturing customer relationships to drive sales. This role is focused on lead generation, consistent follow-ups, and proactive outreach to both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, qualify prospects, and generate new sales opportunities.
- Proactively engage with potential and existing customers via phone and email to build relationships and identify sales opportunities.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing detailed product and service information.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM (Salesforce).
- Stay informed on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity to better position CIP’s solutions.
- Research and qualify new leads to expand sales opportunities.
- Assist the sales team with administrative support, including preparing quotes and managing customer data.
Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a high-call-volume sales or customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, such as Salesforce.
- Strong phone communication skills with a confident and engaging approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and lead follow-up.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain customer relationships through persistent outreach.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
