Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Break and Shear Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience with various machining processes. As a Press Break or Shear Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stamping presses and other related equipment to produce high-quality components. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our products meet industry standards.
Duties
- Operate stamping presses and other machinery to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any maintenance performed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and Cleaning on equipment.
- Assist in the setup of tooling for new jobs and modifications as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Press Break or Shear Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate laser cutting machines, milling machines, and stamping presses effectively.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools used in manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.45 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
