Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in the field, building relationships with local contractors, resellers, while driving sales in both the decorative and aggregate rock segments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales through direct interaction with decision makers, estimators, purchasing agents, and key industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to local construction sites, and customer offices to meet with developers, contractors, and decision-makers.
- Take product samples to potential customers, providing them with the necessary information to make purchasing decisions.
- Schedule and follow through on orders, ensuring customers' needs are met promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their project needs and recommending suitable products.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including emerging developments and large-scale projects.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, construction developments, and market demands to anticipate customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and sales reports.
- Comfortable collaborating and negotiating with C-suite clients on projects exceeding $1B in overall value.
Qualifications:
- Experience in outside sales or a similar role is a plus, preferably in the construction or landscaping industry.
- Knowledge of decorative and aggregate rock products is beneficial but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a schedule, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets independently.
- Must be comfortable with driving to various locations(vehicle provided).
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated, passionate for success, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
