Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Representative

Custom Lawn & Landscape in Olathe, KS is looking to add a great Customer Service & Inside Salesperson.

Custom Lawn is a growing, industry-leading lawn and landscape service provider currently serving the Kansas City Metro area. Our team of employees is second to none in our industry. We firmly believe that if we are happy working together, feeling supported, and having fun, we will be able to take amazing care of our customers! Daily tasks will include answering phone calls, emails, and text messages and then ensuring that the customer is presented with the appropriate solutions to their lawn and landscape issues. They will then work with the sales manager and department managers to make sure our customers get exactly what they requested from us.

Our ideal candidate will be given the opportunity to add immediately to our amazing culture. This person should have 2 years of customer service and/or clerical experience, inbound sales experience, above-average general technology skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to maintain superior attention to detail in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Receive and route inbound calls, text messages, and emails
• Match customer requests to our services
• Maintain strict data accuracy and conformity in our CRM (Service Assistant by Real Green Systems)
• Match our service offerings to our customers’ needs

Must be able to:

• Communicate accurately & effectively with customers & co-workers
• Sit or stand at a desk and computer screen for 8 hours
• Work a standard weekday schedule of 9 hours sometime between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM
• Communicate effectively in English over the phone, via text/email, and in writing
• Use Windows computer MS Office programs and google business apps effectively
• Occasionally lift up to 25#

Additional distinguishing attributes would include:

• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Knowledge of the lawn and landscape industry
• Ability to learn new computer programs and applications quickly
• Manage time well while working unsupervised
• Accomplish many different daily tasks amid constant distractions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
