Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our equipment, specifically focusing on mowers and occasionally vehicles. You will be responsible for fueling equipment every shift. Your expertise in preventative maintenance will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Fuel equipment every shift.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on mowers and other equipment to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Sharpen blades on mowers to ensure optimal cutting performance and safety.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostics on various types of equipment to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all equipment is kept in safe working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics or related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in preventative maintenance, particularly with mowers and small engines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance is a plus.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
