Cleaning Team & Rentals Associate Job Description
In this role, you will play a key part in providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring smooth rental processes, and contributing to the overall success of our rental operations.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Processing:
- Create customer orders by pulling and packing correct inventory for orders
- Conduct thorough inspections of inventory before and after customer use.
- Report and document any damages, maintenance issues, or safety concerns.
- Equipment Handling:
- Assist customers in loading and unloading rental equipment.
- Provide basic instructions on the proper use of rental items.
- Ensure that all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
- Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Keep rental facilities, including office areas and vehicles, clean and organized.
- Monitor and replenish rental supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of rental industry practices and equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Compensation and Benefits:

Key responsibilities may include:
- Pre-event cleaning:
- Thoroughly vacuuming and mopping floors
- Dusting all surfaces, including furniture and fixtures
- Wiping down countertops, tables, and chairs
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Checking and replenishing supplies like hand soap and paper towels
- During-event cleaning:
- Regularly emptying trash cans and recycling bins
- Attending to spills and messes immediately
- Cleaning and sanitizing high-touch areas like door handles and handrails
- Post-event cleaning:
- Removing all debris and trash from the venue
- Deep cleaning floors, including spot cleaning and scrubbing
- Wiping down all surfaces and furniture
- Cleaning and storing any rental equipment used for the event
- Inspecting the venue for damage and reporting any issues
Required skills and qualifications:
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic cleaning knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends depending on event needs
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
Must be available some weekends and have a valid ID and transportation
