The Tool Attendant plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our manufacturing center by managing the inventory of tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and be proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office and other software for effective data visualization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the inventory of tools and equipment within the tool crib, ensuring accurate tracking and availability.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting incoming tools for quality and accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and improve overall efficiency.
- Utilize Microsoft Office to create reports and visualizations that support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized tool crib environment to ensure safety and accessibility of tools.
- Assist in training new employees on tool crib procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis; familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Microsoft Office to present findings effectively.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or similar environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage inventory effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders within the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
