Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, according to specifications listed in the work order provided. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read instructions accurately. The Press Brake Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines for metal fabrication.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, and specific instructions to satisfy order specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate dimensions.
• Perform routine operator level maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
