Job Summary: The Lead Coordinator will be responsible for managing and responding to inbound sales inquiries, ensuring smooth communication with customers, and maintaining accurate records in our CRM system. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient workflows, facilitating strong customer relationships, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Contact all inbound sales leads within 30 minutes of submission to acknowledge the inquiry and initiate the sales process.
- Collect and input all necessary customer details, including company information, project specifications, and order requirements, ensuring comprehensive data entry in our CRM system.
- Follow up with customers within one business day to ensure their needs are met, answer any questions, and provide further details about products and services. Maintain continuous communication as needed.
- Ensure that all customer quotes are up to date, accurate, and properly entered into the CRM. Assist with revisions as required and communicate changes to customers in a timely manner.
- Re-engaged in cold leads that haven’t responded within 72 hours to bring them back into the pipeline.
- Regularly update and maintain customer profiles, sales lead data, and follow-up reminders in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates to management on lead status, sales activities, and customer feedback.
Physical demands:
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Repeat the same movements.
Skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in a sales coordination or customer support role, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and a willingness to problem-solve.
