Role and Responsibilities
Machine Operators must have a strong understanding of the machines they work with and are responsible for ensuring our company produces on-time quality parts for our customers. In-depth training may be required to prepare a Machine Operator for their daily duties. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Assist in the installation, set-up, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
- Operate tools and machinery to aid the manufacturing process.
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Oversee the machine while executing tasks and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
- Produce quality parts according to manufacturing targets and schedules as directed by the Plant Manager.
- Record all machine actions and log completed parts for record keeping.
- Assume responsibility for ensuring the duties of this position are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Keep a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
