Role Description:
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & E/O Monday
Hours: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

This critical position involves being the primary release agent for all production on the shift, ensuring meticulous data and documentation review in comparison to customer agreements. Additionally, you may support in-process testing, perform internal audits, and contribute to new product development tasks.

This critical position involves being the primary release agent for all production on the shift, ensuring meticulous data and documentation review in comparison to customer agreements. Additionally, you may support in-process testing, perform internal audits, and contribute to new product development tasks.
As a Quality Assurance Technician, your typical day might include:
- Prioritizing safety in all assigned tasks, considering both personal and group safety considerations.
- Ensuring manufactured products meet customer requirements through testing, analyzing production data, and confirming post-production samples.
- Providing production support by analyzing non-conforming materials, in-process production, and returned goods, communicating results to management.
- Creating data analysis tables and reports, generating summaries like Certificates of Analysis and Process Yields, and submitting to customers.
- Conducting analytical investigations, developing root causes for non-conformances and deviations.
- Operating gauging and test equipment for quality assurance functions, including calibration, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
- Assisting in the performance of qualification and validation studies.
- Preparing samples for shipment to customers.
- Managing the organization, supply inventory, and cleanliness of the laboratory and sample storage areas.
- Reviewing incoming receipts against QDoc-01 requirements (customer requirements) and performing product release per Qdoc-01 requirements.
- Performing inspections and assisting on special projects.
- Openly communicating and sharing learnings and information with the shift team to achieve group success.
- Tracking and communicating departmental metrics results.
- Performing any other work or task as assigned.
We're looking for someone with:
- A high level of safety consciousness and commitment to following policies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work extended shifts (twelve hours) and self-supervise.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in plant tactical Quality functions preferred.
- Post-high school education preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of critical thinking in decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral – maintaining professionalism in communications.
- Lean or 5S experience preferred.
