Position Overview:
Custom Quality Scaffolding Coatings Division is actively seeking an experienced Industrial Coatings Project Manager. Said person must have at least 5 years of experience in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industrial coatings, although specific coatings knowledge is preferred but not mandatory. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, make informed decisions, and handle various aspects of project management including sales, estimation, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple industrial coatings projects from initiation through completion. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Sales & Estimation: Develop and maintain client relationships. Prepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bids for new projects. Drive sales efforts to meet company targets.
- Budgeting: Create and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Track expenses and adjust project plans as needed to stay within budget.
- Decision-Making: Make informed decisions regarding project execution, resource allocation, and problem-solving. Address any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders, employees. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns or changes in scope. Having a proactive approach versus reactive.
- Autonomy: Work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage your workload effectively.
- Experience: Preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial setting, with a strong preference for experience in industrial coatings.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in project management, including sales, estimation, and budgeting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer use (Microsoft Office).
- Capable of managing employees.
- Knowledge: While specific knowledge of industrial coatings is preferred, a general understanding of the industry and its practices is important.

- OSHA 10 (preferred)
- NACE 1, AMPP CIP 1 (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License/Clean MVR (Required)
