To surface grind metal parts with a handheld grinder to remove scale and slag from the part and occasional tack welding for repair of blows in parts. This will produce a good part for the customer.

To surface grind metal parts with a handheld grinder to remove scale and slag from the part and occasional tack welding for repair of blows in parts. This will produce a good part for the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read a tape, a square and prints as well as work orders.
- Must be able to fill out the paperwork efficiently and legible.
- Make sure the count of parts match the work order amount.
- Prints will give all tolerances and dimensions for parts to be checked per print.
- Must be able to work a grinder and lift steel parts.
- Must be able to operate an overhead crane
- Ability to determine if a part is out of square, needs too many repairs or can be fixed.
- Ability to return pallets to the previous station that are improperly and unsafely stacked with parts.
