As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within our precision manufacturing operations. You will develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001-2015 standards. Your role will be crucial in driving continuous improvement, reducing defects, and enhancing overall product quality through effective oversight of our subtractive machining processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management Systems: Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO standards and other relevant certifications for both automotive and aerospace sectors.
- Process Oversight: Monitor and analyze CNC mill and lathe processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure product quality.
- Inspection and Testing: Establish and oversee inspection and testing protocols to ensure that all products meet customer specifications before delivery.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality control processes, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for employees on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain team members to address quality-related issues and ensure effective communication regarding quality standards.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
Your Professional Experience Should include...
- Experience with subtractive machining processes and quality control techniques.
- Familiarity with QMS and ISO 9001-2015
- Proven ability to influence and lead through effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with team members at all levels.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.13 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
