Summary
As an Accounting Specialist I, you will play an essential role in the accounting functions of the organization. This position is expected to process all rental fleet additions and disposals timely and accurately. Attention to detail, flexibility, and multitasking are essential for this role. This position does not require travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage additions to the rental fleet to ensure they are added accurately and timely and post necessary journal entries
- Manage disposals from the rental fleet to ensure they are accounted for accurately and timely and post necessary journal entries
- Follow company processes and procedures to obtain proper approvals
- Maintain SOX compliance in all processes
- Provide support to internal and external auditors as it relates to these daily responsibilities
- As this position becomes more efficient and proficient, will also consider assigning further responsibilities
- Skillfully use computerized accounting and financial management systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Stable work history
- Detail-oriented

- Highly motivated individual who can work independently
- Team player who doesn’t mind digging into the details if the situations calls for it
- Possess and demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity and professional judgement
